What is this show about?

This follows the main character of Victor. Who in season one is new to Creekwood. He starts messaging Simon because Victor thinks that is the only person who can help him understand what it is Victor is feeling. Victor is questioning his sexuality and doesn't know if he is gay, bisexual, straight, or something else that isn't on his radar.

Victor thinks that now that he is in Creekwood he can at the very least start getting the answers to the questions that he always had but never thought he wanted the answer to. Because of the fact he felt like he didn't want to be different and be teased for it. And also it doesn't help when he cant feel like he cant go to his own parents based on how they act and the things that they say.

Victor feels like he has to hide apart of himself because he doesnt want others to be uncomfortable (which honestly like same). But Victor decides that hes going to be who he is weather those in his life like it or not.

Thoughts:

I adored this show. I think that it is the perfect binge show for like a weekend because of how short the episodes are. (They are roughly 30 minutes each). I thought that this show was really well done and was a perfect spin off of sorts of the Love Victor universe that Becky Albertalli introduced the world to with Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda.

I know with me, I would love to see a series revolving around Lake or Rahim (and maybe Felix). I think that these are the three characters that I would love to see take a lead in their own show and see how their destiny after the events of Love Victor is.

Also, can we talk about the character development in this show. I do think that maybe it was a little rushed in season 3 because it only had 8 episodes. But I still loved the last season just as much. I do wish that there were things that were more fleshed out in season 3. Like Pilar and Felix's relationship. Because it seemed like as soon as they got comfortable dating and came out that they were in fact a couple they split up. Where it seemed like the reasons why Felix's other relationship fails made sense for the character and for the show, this one was over before it really had a chance to take off.

I think that this show is great and I can see it becoming a comfort show of mine when I just need to have something familiar. I loved the story that was told and thought that was done in a way that made you want to root for Victor and other characters. I think that this was an amazing show that deserves all the rave that it gets.

*Also, do want to say that there are some uncomfortable and mature scenes in this show. One of them being Victors mom walking in on Victor and Benji doing it. So if you do want to watch it with kids, I would suggest a run threw first before deciding if it is age appropriate for said kids. This show talks about alcohol and rehab along with the sexuality element.*

Would I Recommend?

Yes. This was all I could talk about when I saw that there was going to be a season 3. I think that this show is very much worth the watch. Just if you are going to watch it with someone who is a minor just do a watch threw first. Make sure that it is appropriate for them.
