Summary:
This follows two main characters of Cassie and Luke. Two extremely different people who meet and decide that they are going to do a fake marriage despite what it might cause them in order to help benefit the other.
Cassie is s struggling singer song writer who works at a bar and gives piano lessons on the side just to make ends meet. She was also recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so now she is going to have to find a way to add in that into her budget that is already tight to begin with.
Then you have Luke. The marine. Who is about to ship out and is trying to find a way to make sure that he can pay his drug dealer back all the money that he owes from the days where he was using.
One night, while Cassie is working in the bar, the marines enter. Cassie and Frankie (a character who Cassie was close to when they were younger) reunite due to Frankie entering the Marines. It was here that Cassie and Luke meet and there starts the enemies to lover romance that is this film.
Even though they had their difference and started their marriage on things like wanting insurance for Cassies diabetes along with the extra cash to help pay off Lukes drug dealer, over the course of this film they fall in love.
Thoughts:
Okay. I loved this film. I thought it was amazing. This honestly might be one of my favorite movie couples that I have ever witnessed. This was one of those movies that you just didnt want to end because it felt like you could just watch it. This honestly might be a movie that I watch over and over again and not get bored.
This was one of the better movies that I have watched on Netflix. I think that it was a fantastic movie and I just loved everything about it. From the characters to the way that they were written to the way that they were portrayed. I loved how the actors that were picked for Cassie and Luke were actors that made you BELIEVE that they hated each other in the beginning because of their views and overtime fell in love with not only what was on the surface but what was on the inside and everything in between.
Would I Recommend This:
