Today, I am introducing a new concept on my blog. Called current obsession. This is mainly going to be about television shows that I am currently watching and loving. And as you can see from the title today I am going to be talking about Glee.

Synopsis Of The Show:
But with the popularity of the group comes Sue (played by Jane Lynch) who is trying to stop the group from gaining any kind of popularity. She does have a few cheerleaders from her squad to audition and be a part of the glee club. Even some football players join after having a victory with Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) as the kicker.
Thoughts:
While rewatching the first season, I can't help but notice that Will is pretty much detached from his wife Terri which is why she faked her pregnancy (which is something that I don't condone in everyday life). But if you are rewatching the show like I am, you will notice that Will's only "friends" are these teenagers who he is influencing in one way or another. He isn't seen with any of the faculty other than his future girlfriend Emma, the head coach of the Cheerios Sue, and the principal Figgins.
There are probably bigger problematic things throughout the show that as a viewer didn't catch during the first go around. It was on practically from the time I was in 8th grade to the year after I graduated high school. So to say that this had an impact on my life during those years would be an understatement. Because I think that it had a big impact on a lot of people who watched the show.
Why I Am Doing A Rewatch:
I think I am doing a rewatch just because I want to see if it is as good as I remember. I am laughing at the cringy moments just for the sheer fact that it is cringy. As someone who was (probably) in the key demo when it first came out. But is it making me laugh then yea? I am mainly laughing at the cringy moments but I think that is what makes it funny because it goes threw the cringy moments. I think watching it again I find that there are people who I relate to as a 26-year-old than I did as a 16-year-old. I still don’t relate to Rachel Berry besides the whole "I just want to be seen and have my voice heard." But other than that I am probably glad I chose to do a rewatch even if I am going to regret it by the end.
